Welcome to the tractorlife.com blog. I’m your host blogger, Mark Moore. We’ve developed this blog to be a conduit for news and information that revolve in and around tractors, farm equipment and maintenance issues. We plan on covering a wide variety of topics… news, up-to-date research, analysis and commentary that you won’t find anywhere else on the web.
I’d like to take a moment to introduce myself. I am an agricultural journalist and photographer with nearly 25 years of experience. I’ve been a newspaper writer, wire service editor, commodity newsletter editor, equipment magazine editor and public relations/advertising professional. Most recently, I’ve been a freelance writer and photographer for several major industry publications and web sites.
My work has centered on production agriculture, and I’ve interviewed producers across North America. I don’t claim to be an expert, but I know who to contact when I want to find out the latest information. I talk with industry experts, university extension researchers, and producers with whom I’ve worked with over the years. I like to ask a lot of questions, and I hope to provide news and information you can use.
Like you, I have taken a keen interest in the latest technologies. Today, posting on a web site is as common as writing a full feature article for a magazine. So that’s why we’re here – providing you the latest news in a timely manner.
But what makes blogs even more intriguing is that they allow two-way conversation. I post, you respond, and we open up a dialogue. And that’s what I encourage: if you have a news item, a tip, a suggestion or a comment, feel free to respond. Let me know how I’m doing, and what I can do to help you. Any and all comments are welcomed.
So welcome to the blog.
